Coma diabeticum und Pankreatitis

Zusammenfassung

Es wird über vier Patienten mit Coma diabeticum und akuter Pankreatitis berichtet. Die pathogenetischen Zusammenhänge beider Erkrankungen werden besprochen, die diagnostischen Schwierigkeiten und therapeutischen Probleme aufgezeigt. Drei von vier Patienten starben. Bei dem überlebenden Patienten hat sich die Stoffwechselstörung bis auf einen pathologischen Tolbutamid-(Rastinon^®-)Test, eine Hyperlipämie und Hyperurikämie zurückgebildet.

Summary

Four cases of diabetic coma and acute pancreatitis are reported and the pathogenetic relationship between the two diseases, diagnostic problems and therapeutic measures discussed. Three of the patients died. In the survivor metabolic disturbances completely regressed, except for a persistently abnormal tolbutamide test, hyperlipaemia and hyperuricaemia.

Coma diabético y pancreatitis

Se informa sobre 4 pacientes con coma diabético y pancreatitis aguda. Se discuten las relaciones patogenéticas de ambas enfermedades y se señalan las dificultades diagnósticas y los problemas terapéuticos. Tres de los cuatro pacientes fallecieron. En el enfermo sobreviviente ha involucionado el trastorno metabólico; exceptuando un test patológico a la tolbutamida (Rastinon^®), una hiperlipemia y una hiperuricemia.
